Cardiovascular Medicine, PLLC is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist!!

Position Summary:

The Accounting Specialist is a key member of the accounting team. This position provides financial support to the business office with a primary focus on the processing and monitoring of accounts payable, analytical analysis, and general ledger.  General ledger will include preparing journal entries and supporting schedules for various balance sheet accounts each month.

Education and Experience:

·         Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in the Accounting Field or a related field preferred

·         1-2 years accounting experience preferred

·         Open to recent graduate who has a strong attention to detail and self-motivated

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Proficient in knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis
• Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets using advanced formulas and pivot tables
• Experience with SAGE 100 and NetSuite preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform analysis on expenses
