Customer Service $17.50/hr (Full Time)
Department: Customer Contact Center

PAY: $17.50 per hour

Schedule will include weekend hours and some evenings until 7 PM

Customer Service TeamSummary

Respond to web chat and phone calls for merchandise inquiries. Check on status of website orders. Help customers with product related questions and assist with internet sales. Review, research, and resolve problem sale and purchase orders. Complete other reporting and clerical duties as assigned.

Customer Service TeamDuties

Answer calls and return messages from customers checking the status of their online orders
Respond to chats from customers who are visiting the E-Commerce website
Assist website customers with determining needs and providing product and/or policy information.
Utilize internal resources to gather requested information or to find a solution/response for the customer.
Quote shipment prices. Enter and set up shipments and deliveries.
Invite the customer to place an order if interest is shown on specific products
Improve product knowledge by studying product information.
Navigate homemakers.com to direct customer to information they may be seeking
Manage up multiple chat sessions at one time
Assist in processing service e-mails

Experience / Skills

Basic computer and phone etiquette skills
Strong problem solving and reasoning ability.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages.

Physical Demands

Extended sitting at desk for work on a computer
Occasional standing and walking
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus
