Accounts Payable $20/hr (Full Time)
Department: Accounting

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: Monday-FridayHours are flexible and can work with the individual.

Summary

This position is responsible for working with all aspects of the accounting department.

Description of Job Duties

Enter and process invoices, payments and refunds
Verify invoices received against purchase orders
Balance vendor statements and daily deposits
Contact Vendors to resolve discrepancies
Understand vendor contracts
Verifying payments to vendors
Process debit and credit memos
Process delivery reports and verify COD amounts
Working knowledge of AP/AR procedures
Maintain Vendor Records
Ability to explain account balances and understand account activity

Education/Work Experience:

2 year accounting degree or higher
or 2-4 years work related experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of accounting basics
Detail Oriented
Organized
Problem solving
Ability to multi-task
Working knowledge with accounting software and Excel

Extended sitting at desk and use of computer
Occasional standing and bending

Office /Clerical Experience

Typing skills of 35 net wpm
Data Entry skills of 60 kpm
