Wellness Clerk 3 (Full Time)

Regular Full Time -$17.75 - 19.75/HR
Shifts: Complete Open Availability -Weekends Required
Position Overview:As a Wellness Department Clerk, you will serve in a customer service and stocking position to support the overall goals of the Wellness Department.
Essential Functions:
- Build, merchandise and maintain displays
- Assist in achieving required sales margin, expense, and labor targets
- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform tasks to maintain the daily operations of the department
- Assist Wellness Manager with inventory control and overall profitability of the department
- All other duties assigned by Supervisors
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong product knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and body care
- Knowledge of current trends in natural and conventional supplements and body care
- Passion for whole body health and wellness
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer skills to research product information
- Demonstrated merchandising skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and vendors when required
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
- Follow and enforce all applicable State of California Health and Safety Codes
Physical requirements- While performing the duty of this job, the employee will be expected to:
- Regularly walk, stand, reach, squat, push and pull.
- Tolerate repetitive reaching, handling, grasping, pushing, pulling gripping and manipulation of hands and fingers in order to lift, retrieve and stock product
- Frequently talk or hear and reach with both hands and arms above and below the shoulder
- Occasionally climb, kneel, lift and carry up to 50 pounds of items and regularly up to 10 pounds
- Bend and twist at waist and neck
- Use their fingers to operate a keyboard and mouse to use the department computer
- Work around heavy equipment such as but not limited to: forklift, baler and pallet jack
