POSITION SUMMARY |
Compile, record, or process employee data and other administrative support to the Human Resources Department. May provide Human Resource support to employees under guidance of the Human Resources Manager. |

Essential Functions Statements
Process, verify, and maintain employee related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, corrective action, performance evaluations, and employee leaves of absence. |

Explain company employment policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants. |
|
Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations. |
|
Gather employee records from other departments or employees. |
|
Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for employment actions. |
|
Answer questions regarding eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information. |
|
Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to employment activities. |
|
Assist in the recruiting cycle which includes, processing and reviewing employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants. |
|
Answer inquiries and provide information to the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties regarding activities conducted at organization. |
|
Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls. |

SKILLS & ABILITIES
EDUCATION |
Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: administration, human resources |
EXPERIENCE |
Prior administrative or human resources support experience necessary. |
COMPUTER SKILLS |
Proficient level of computer skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook). |

OTHER REQUIREMENTS |
Proficient level of typing skills. Excellent phone etiquette. Must provide documentation of eligibility to work in the United States, pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, and applicable background verification(s). |
