Laser Operator  (Full Time)
Location: Neenah, WI

To produce rotary and bobst cutting die components, including flat material.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Read job tickets and production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, dimensions, and tolerances.
Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and dieboards on machines, using hand tools.
Select appropriate material and settings.
Establish appropriate start and stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
Perform typical laser cutting operations.
Set up future jobs while machines are operating.
Measure dimensions of finished dieboards to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
Clean and perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including daily housekeeping tasks.
Detect and report defective materials or problematic conditions to the department supervisor.
Regular attendance.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: Must have prior diemaker or laser operation experience.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft operating system and email.
Other Requirements: Ability to accurately read a tape measure and calculate measurements. Must provide documentation of eligibility to work in the United States, pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, applicable background verification(s), and post-offer physical exam and job assessment. Vision (Near, Color, Depth)
Sense of Sound - Ability to hear different mechanical sounds/processes from laser
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - steel toed footwear, fire and cut-resistent gloves, and safety glasses.
Occasionally swing plastic mallet

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment and exposed to odors, sharp materials and components, airborne particles, and vibration.
