Payroll Administrator (Full Time)
: Front Office
Snyder Village is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for hourly and salaried staff for approximately 250+ employee. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee files, government reporting, and payroll tax payments along with payroll. This is a salaried position.
Hours of work:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Friday
- Hours can be flexible
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of payroll experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
Duties include:
- Coordinates input and updating of all employment records. Set up and maintain accurate computer and paper files. Responsible for security and privacy of all employment records and follows Snyder Village Policies & Procedures and Federal and State regulations.
- Generates employee payrolls and reports Bi-weekly & Semi-monthly including payroll General Ledger interfaces.
- Process employee terminations including state notification, payout PTO and removal of employees from Time & Attendance and Payroll system.
- Report and pay withholding taxes and wage garnishments
- Reconcile, file, and pay Quarterly taxes.
- Report wages monthly and quarterly to Unemployment and assists with claims
- Maintains Workmen’s Compensation records and coordinates annual audits.
- Coordinates and assists employees with enrollment and education concerning the 401K plan. Coordinate 401K audit and report monthly contributions
- Review and submit quarterly governmental reporting of nursing hours, (PBJ) reporting
- Maintain employee (ESS) web portal
