Skills/Qualifications Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role from within a Senior Living, Assisted Living, and/or Memory Care facility.
- Bachelors degree in healthcare, business, gerontology, or related field preferred
- Strong marketing experience
- Creative problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc) proficiency
- Flexibility- The Assisted Living Director will need to have the ability to have a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the community (residents, staff, and operations).
- Familiarity with the regulations for Assisted Living Facilities in Illinois

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Oversee the operation of a 65 apartment Assisted Living facility, including a 20 apartment early-stage secure memory care program.
- Manage and prepare Assisted Living budget
- Hire, train, discipline, and terminate employees in accordance with Snyder Village policies.
- Ensure positive resident, family, and employee relations by responding promptly and appropriately to their needs, requests, concerns, and suggestions.
- Ensure that the Assisted Living occupancy is kept at or above budgeted goals by utilizing sales and marketing strategies
- See that teams are implemented and operational in all facets of the building and that a multi-disciplinary team approach is utilized with residents.
