Campus Chaplain

Campus Chaplain (Part Time)
: Assisted Living, Health Center, Retirement Community

Snyder Village is looking for a Campus Chaplain. In this position, you would use your experience in ministry to assist residents, families, and staff who may need grief counseling, general emotional support, or spiritual guidance. This position plays a vital role in our mission of "providing for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of others in a loving, dignified, and Christian atmosphere". The right person for this job has to have a deep passion for helping others and can work independently.

Hours of work:

20 hours a week
Hours vary to best fit the needs of the residents of Snyder Village.

Requirements:

CPE training or lay ministry preferred
Ordained Pastor or Chaplain training
Experience working with the senior population preferred

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide spiritual care to residents, staff, and families.
Assist the family in dealing with issues of trauma, stress, and loneliness.
Interfaces with resident's own church, if requested.
Provide literature and spiritual resources that may be of assistance to residents and families.
