Parman Energy is looking for a new Fleet & Safety Coordinator to join our team! The Fleet & Safety Coordinator facilitates safety training with the Fleet Safety & Maintenance Manager as well as observes and evaluates staff in making sure they are adhering to company SOP, EPA, MSHA, DOT regulations, and all safety practices. Minimum of 25% travel to other facilities as required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Trains drivers on how to conduct daily reporting including vehicle inspection reports, hours of service reports, incident reports, and any other required documentation
- Maintains all records of MSHA, EPA, DOT, OSHA and USCG requirement tracking
- Tracks, compiles, and reports required Federal, State, and Internal documentation.
- Conducts regular facility inspections to include evaluation of safe work behaviors of all personnel
- Demonstrates, promotes, and facilitates a safe environment always
- Provide administrative support to Fleet Safety & Maintenance Manager
- Provides direction, guidance, and training, and establishes schedules for location managers, following consistent training procedures
- Leading classroom training for new hire safety training
- Ability to comprehend and follow all company policies and procedures
- Minimum of 25% travel to other facilities to conduct new hire safety training
Requirements:
- 2 years minimum safety experience required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least two years related experience and/or training
- OSHA and FMCSA experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude and be professional. Strong customer service and communication skills required
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Companys handbook and training manuals as well as company policies, procedures, and guidelines that are added and/or revised as necessary
