If your answer isYES, then Farmington Country Club presents an exciting opportunity for you to join our culinary team as ourStaff Meals Chef! Our Staff Meals Chef is responsible for the daily production of food for the Clubs employeesin accordance with Club recipes and quality standards. You will be responsible for writing balanced and exciting menus with the guidance of the banquet Sous Chef. Also responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary work stations; and for maintaining sanitation and food handling practices according to Club and health department standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and break down staff cafeteria, including the kitchen area as well as the dining area.
• Prep and cook all food items needed in both hot selections and salad bar items
• Requisition necessary food supplies with the approval and guidance of the Banquet Sous Chef
• Maintain clean, sanitary and safe work station and equipment in the main kitchen prep area in accordance with Club and Local Health Department Standards
• Adhere to state, local, and Club health and safety regulations
• Maintain neat, professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules at all times
• Prepare and restock salad bar for the next day. Prep hot food mis en place for the following day
• Utilize leftover and excess food from the outlets when necessary by incorporating them into the menu cycle
• Transport food from main kitchen to staff cafeteria location
• Write menus using appropriate recipes on a weekly basis and in cooperation with the Banquet Sous Chef for approval and direction
• Assist with banquet production when needed
• Organize and properly rotate food using FIFO method

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a professional kitchen
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for periods of up to 6 hours
