If your answer is YES, then Farmington Country Club presents an exciting opportunity for you to join our Facilities Maintenance team as the Facilities Maintenance Assistant Manager! The Facilities Maintenance Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the entire Club facility, including the physical building structure and all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, in accordance with standards and procedures, preventative maintenance programs, safety practices, budgets, and regulatory requirements. The Facilities Maintenance Assistant Manager is also responsible for assisting with the training and supervision of the Maintenance team and for ensuring the timely and accurate resolution of property maintenance concerns.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC-related maintenance for the entire Club;
- Adherence to Club and departmental safety standards and procedures;
- Ensure facilities including environmental standards/specifications, as well as fire and life safety are in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA);
- Adherence to preventative maintenance program of scheduled inspections, repairs, and replacement of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems;
- Correctly use FacilityDude to receive, prioritize, and assign work order to maintenance team mechanics;
- Schedule Facilities Maintenance staff, and appropriately enter schedules and changes into Attendance Enterprise;
- Maintain an orderly and organized maintenance building;
- Participate in regular departmental meetings;
- Promote teamwork and engagement among maintenance team members, as well as across departments;
- Assist Facilities Maintenance Manager in the development and implementation of training programs;
- Assist Facilities Maintenance Manager in the performance management and professional development of maintenance team members
Candidate Qualifications:
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor should have post-secondary training in a related field; relevant facilities maintenance supervisory experience in a business, education, or hospitality environment; ability to climb up to heights of 25 feet and lift and carry up to 60 lbs., and demonstrated competency in the following areas of knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Relevant facilities maintenance supervisory experience in a business or similar environment;
- Technical acumen in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and painting;
- Knowledge of Federal, State, OSHA, and local building regulations and codes;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Fosters communication and collaboration intradepartmentally and interdepartmentally;
- Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and demeanor
