Assistant Pastry Chef (Full Time)

Farmington Country Clubis looking for an Assistant Pastry Chef to assist with the daily operation of the bakeshop, which produces baked goods and showpieces for the Club’s restaurants and banquets. Responsibilities include training and supervising pastry cooks and interns, pastry production for the restaurants and banquets, and assisting with the production of cakes and showpieces for special functions. The Culinary Brigade is led by Executive Chef Michael Matarazzo, CEC.
Competitive candidates should have a minimum of two years of professional pastry experience; basic baking, pastry, and cake decorating skills; and an understanding of menu engineering and costing. A college degree in Baking and Pastry is preferred.
