Farmington Country Club is looking for an experienced professional who enjoys working with plants and people, and who believes in quality work and attention to detail, to join the staff of our Grounds Maintenance Department. Our Landscape Specialist is responsible for managing and participating in the daily maintenance of the Club grounds, to include: ornamental plant installation and maintenance, performing IPM/PHC inspections and follow up, pesticide application, assisting with the tree maintenance program, training and supervising staff, and participating in routine grounds maintenance tasks.

Competitive candidates should have a college degree in horticulture or related field, or equivalent technical training; a minimum of two years of experience working with ornamentals and grounds maintenance; a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in grounds maintenance or related field; Virginia Registered Technician Pesticide Applicators license or Virginia Commercial Not for Hire 3 A, 3 B, and 6 Pesticide License ( preferred); and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
