If your answer is YES, then Farmington Country Club presents an exciting opportunity for you to join our culinary team as our Dishwasher! Our Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the kitchens, and have tremendous opportunities for growth, including the potential to train and develop new skills in food preparation and more!

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain a clean kitchen and organized dish area;
• Properly wash, sanitize, and sort soiled dishes;
• Properly stack and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers;
• Maintain clean and dry floors throughout the shift;
• Set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks;
• Change water of dish machines and sinks every two hours or as required by business levels, and properly use chemical dilutions set by EcoLab;
• Maintain trash cans throughout shift and remove full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift or as business levels permit;
• Assist in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed;
• Work alongside and learn from experienced and knowledgeable chefs, including Executive Chef Michael Matarazzo, CEC, and Executive Sous Chef Charles Figueroa, CEC and 2019 winner of the U.S.A. Chef of Year Award

Farmington Country Club is a premier, full-service private club in Central Virginia. Farmington is a member-owned club founded in 1927, and recognized as a Platinum Club of America. Portions of the clubhouse date to 1780, and were designed by Thomas Jefferson. The grounds of Farmington Country Club cover 275 landscaped acres and include the clubhouse, guest rooms, athletic facilities, tennis courts and golf course.

The club has two restaurants, a formal dining room and a grill restaurant, seating a total of 300; each has its own kitchen. In addition, there are private dining rooms seating 100, 50, 40 and 12, a ballroom seating 250 and two seasonal snack bars. Sports facilities include a 27-hole golf course, 15 outdoor and three indoor tennis courts, three paddle tennis courts, a swimming complex with diving and lap pools and a zero-depth recreation area, and a professionally staffed fitness center. Club facilities include 40 guest rooms.
