Position: Banquet Bartender (on call)

Wage: 8.00/hr. plus tips

 

POSITION SUMMARY:  Provide exceptional beverage services at special events and banquets in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

·         Analyze BEO prior to start of event and maintain complete knowledge of event.

·         Set-up and breakdown bar, as instructed. Set-up is to be completed no less than 15-minutes prior to event start time.

·         Prepare garnishes for beverage station.

·         Take and fill drink orders, follow recipes and mix drinks according to Title 4 and CCCH standards.

·         Observe alcoholic beverage service rules to prevent serving minors, over serving or serving intoxicated Guests.

·         Process payment transactions accurately and maintain complete records of all transactions for end of shift report.

·         Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, counters, and equipment throughout shift.

·         Maintain adequate inventory of supplies for scheduled event, and restock as needed.

·         Provide prompt and friendly service to all Guests.

·         Ensure compliance with all Title 4, CCCH Department policies, procedures, and processes.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.     Education: 

a.     High School diploma or equivalent, preferred. 

b.     Mixology certificate, preferred.

2.     Work Experience:

a.     Minimum of 1 years’ experience bartending, required.

b.     Experience working special events, banquets, preferred.

c.     Cash-handling in busy food service enterprise experience, required.

3.     Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a.     Thorough knowledge of spirits and wines, required.

b.     Possess excellent organization, customer service and communication skills.

c.     Possess mature judgment to calmly manage guest incidents and service denials.

4.     Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:

a.     Have or obtain valid Food Handlers certification upon hire.

b.     Have or obtain valid Title 4 and alcohol awareness certification upon hire.

5.     Be at least 18 years of age.

6.     Able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

7.     Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
