Wage: 7.00/hr. plus tips


POSITION SUMMARY:  Provide an exceptional dining experience through superior food service in a fine dining venue.


·         Accept, change, or cancel reservations in a professional manner via in-person and telephone contact with Guest.

·         Greet, seat, assist, and offer superior service elements to Guests to include beverage service, taking and delivering food orders, maintaining timing of meal flow from appetizer to dessert, announcing special options, making recommendations, and resolving Guest concerns with food quickly and professionally.

·         Process guest tickets and payments accurately and efficiently.

·         Completes opening set-up and side-work during/after shift as directed.

·         Comply with all food and beverage health, liquor and safety regulations.

·         Assist with catering events as directed.

·         Perform other tasks as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS (Indicate if Qualification is Required or Preferred):

1.       Education:  n/a

2.       Work Experience: 

a.       6+ months?? experience as food server required in sit-down dining establishment.

b.       Experience working in fine dining establishment preferred.

3.       Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a.       Possess ability to communicate (verbal, written) effectively and professionally.

b.       Be able to write, read, and speak fluently in English.

c.       Have solid understanding of customer service elements.

d.       Have basic computer / cash register skills with good math abilities.

e.       Present a well-groomed, professional appearance and demeanor.

4.       Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:

5.       Be at least 18 years of age.

6.       Be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

7.       Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.

8.       Be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.

9.       Be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary.

10.   Be able to comply with all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
