POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for properly executing Security duties on assigned shift to adequately protect welfare of Guests, Team Members, Vendors and Casino property while exhibiting excellent Guest service to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel Team Members and Guests. Ensures all Team Members and Guest comply with all Tribal, State, Federal and Casino regulations and policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Protect assigned areas, including observing and reporting of unusual, dangerous, illegal, or suspicious activities.

Prepare and review thorough and accurate written reports of internal, illegal or injury related matters, escorts of money, and other important documentation, as required.

Maintain adequate staffing levels, conduct training, scheduling, evaluating, and managing performance of Team Members as needed.

Provide excellent Guest Service.

Assist in mentorship and development of officers on assigned shift.

Supervise officers to ensure officers are patrolling effectively to provide a safe environment for Guest, Team Members, and property.

Review all reports for accuracy, the collection of information as necessary and assist in identifying potential evidence to be turned over to law enforcement.

Facilitate pre-shift meetings to ensure officers are well informed. Facilitate the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.

Patrol assigned work areas and assist Guests and other Team Members as needed.

Ensure all policies and procedures, regulations and applicable laws are performed.

Safely operate company vehicles when directed to do so.

Respond to emergency incidents in a professional and timely manner and take the lead when applicable, de-escalate tense situations with Guests and Team Members, and ensure proper and appropriate handling by CCCH and adequate documentation is recorded.

Perform all duties of the Lead Officer.

Security Supervisors and above are strongly encouraged to improve annually in leadership, supervisory and security skills. This may be completed through in-house development courses, outside courses or documented self-development courses.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education:

a. High school diploma, equivalent, or equivalent work experience required.

b. Associates degree or higher in related field of study, preferred.

2. Work Experience:

a. 2-5 years experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military preferred.

b. Two years supervisor experience preferred. Casino experience a plus.

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a. Be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written.

b. Possess good organizational and planning skills.

c. Present self in a well-groomed, professional appearance.

d. Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high stress environment.

e. Be computer literate in Word and Excel.

4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:

a. Be able to pass a Title 4 background check per ARS 4-112.G 912.

b. Be certified and maintain BLS/First aid license within 180 days of hire.

5. Be at least: 18 years of age.

6. Be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

7. Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.

8. Be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.

9. Adhere to the Department's Code of Ethics.

10. Be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary.
