Wage: 7.00/hr. plus tips 

 

 POSITION SUMMARY:   Deal games in accordance with CCCH and department procedures.  Manage game action and playersâ?? bets, wins, losses, interaction to maintain accuracy and speed of gaming action, protect assets, and deliver exceptional Guest service.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Deal games in a manner to create a fun experience for Guests while adhering to all CCCH policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure game protection, efficient game pace, payout accuracy and speed.
• Manage game speed and player interactions.
• Call supervisor for any game irregularities, questions, or decisions.
• Maintain a friendly, fun atmosphere by greeting and welcoming Guests to tables, interacting with Guests, using Guestsâ?? names throughout interactions, and graciously expressing thanks for tips and toke bets.
• Tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations with Guests and other Team Members.
• Demonstrate knowledge of games and appropriate guidelines.
• Maintain an approachable and pleasant demeanor (eye contact, smile, greet) even when table is unoccupied.
• Maintain current knowledge of casino promotions and special events to share with Guests.
• Attend all meetings and training as required.
• Report any pertinent game information with incoming dealer.

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Indicate if Qualification is Required or Preferred):

1.       Education:  High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.

2.       Work Experience:  Minimum 1 yearsâ?? experience as card games dealer.  Required work experience can be substituted by completion of an accredited, related training course.

3.       Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a.       Be able to pass a basic math test.

b.       Be able to read and speak English fluently.  Fluency in second languages a plus.

c.       Possess sound, mature judgment.

d.       Be dexterous and have good hand coordination.

e.       Pass a live audition.

f.        Be able to deal from a 6-deck shoe, operate basic equipment (automatic shuffler), and be able to deal to an average of 250 spots/hour (50 hands/hour with 4 spots each hand).

5.       Be at least 18 years of age.

6.       Be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

7.       Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.

8.       Be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.

9.       Be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary.

10.   Be able to comply with all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
