Mountain Springs Supervisor (Full Time, All Shifts)

Summary: Responsible for leading, supervising, and scheduling the front of the house staff of the Mountain Springs Buffet and Three Sisters Market.
Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:
- Complete all departmental and HR paperwork in a timely, efficient and consistent manner.
- Ensure adequate scheduling is provided in the event there are call-outs and PTO.
- Provide training to staff on a department need to know basis.
- Handle and resolve Guest complaints.
- Takes control of the restaurant floor ensuring all aspects from Guest(s) seating, server rotation, server breaks, exceptional Guest service, shift change and equipment repairs are taken care.
- Ensure a partnership exists with FOH Team Members to identify needs and opportunities. Supervise staff and mobilize departmental participation.
- Maintain communication individually and collectively.
- Provide a daily status report of all occurrences and incidents to the food management team.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
- Ensure a maximum level of service and satisfaction throughout the department is achieved and maintained.
- Make recommendations on new hires and evaluations.
- Understand and make adjustments on ADP time tracking system.
- Communicate with back of the house to order stock for front of the house as needed.
- Make adjustments accurately and efficiently on Info-Genesis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism.
- Must be able to handle difficult situations.
- Must be able to tactfully and professionally enforce discipline when needed.
- Must possess strong problem solving, organizational and planning skills.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must have three (3) years experience in the food service industry.
- Must have two (2) to three (3) years previous supervisory experience.
- Must have a Food Handlers certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Able to obtain applicable department license.
- Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
- Ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and special events.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Effectively communicate in both written and verbal form.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Must adhere to department policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
