POSITION SUMMARY:

Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Finance. The Revenue Audit Supervisor will train and oversee revenue audit staff on the audit function for various revenue centers. This position requires acting in a supervisory capacity. This position is responsible for monitoring and guiding the Revenue Auditors in performing daily revenue audits. Review the auditors analyses and/or reports in summarizing and classifying revenue transactions for the preparation of the management Daily Operating Report. Responsible for reviewing all audits and assist with journal entries. Review and approve exception reports. Supervise, train and schedule employees. Prepare and update checklists and procedures as needed. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Casinos brand standard and core values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Supervises and trains audit staff in the collection, organizing and analyzing of daily financial paperwork from the Casino gaming operations and non-gaming operations.

Reviews and reports on all statements prepared by the Revenue Auditors for accuracy and unusual occurrences.

Investigates variances, identifies discrepancies, and reports discrepancies to appropriate departments.

Furnish internal reports, revise and update reports to be more useful and efficient and furnish external reports as necessary.

Assists in assuring that gaming operations are in compliance with casino internal controls to maintain the integrity and protection of casino assets and reports and investigates any exceptions found.

Assist the Revenue Auditors, as needed, with daily duties. Leads the audit team in meeting department goals and timelines and plans, directs and coordinates the daily audit functions.

Assist the Accounting Department, as necessary, in coordinating all revenue journal entries at end of month and end of year.

Coordinate all revenue accounting functions and ensures the smooth operation of the department by coaching and mentoring department staff.

Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem solving; evaluates performance and makes recommendation for personnel actions.

Prepares monthly and special reports upon requests by casino management and other departments including performing summaries, analysis and reconciliation.

Maintains necessary internal controls in compliance with the Tribal gaming regulations. Including, establish and maintain files and records

Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Indicate Required or Preferred):

1.Education: AA in Business preferred

2. Experience:

a. Minimum five (5) years of Supervisory and / or auditor experience in the areas within a gaming facility. An emphasis on Native Gaming is preferred.

3.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a.Knowledge of auditing procedures for gaming systems, point of sale systems, and cash management systems. Also have knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.

b.Must demonstrate the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization; experience writing policy and procedures preferred.

c.The ability to use strong organization skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties and projects in a fast-paced environment.

d.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, 10-key by touch and relevant audit software required. Experience with casino software management system preferred.

e.The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.

f.The ability to interact with guests and team members at all levels of the organization professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups.

5.Must be at least : 18

6. Must participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.

7. Must agree to comply with all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.

8. Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.

9. Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary.
