Pay Rate: $16.00

Summary: Responsible for greeting Guests in a courteous, friendly manner and assisting Guests in the selection of gift items and Castle Club redemption items.

Duties and Responsibilities:Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

Operate Infogenesis to ring up sales and make correct change.

Open the Gift Shop in a timely manner, adhering to posted opening times.

Daily count on cigarettes packs and cartons.

Fill out cigarette cartons received form daily.

Answer phone and direct incoming calls.

Maintain the Gift Shop in a neat and clean manner, polish jewelry, ensuring that all counters, cabinets and merchandise are kept neat, organized, clean and stocked.

Maintain good knowledge of Gift Shop merchandise and inventory.

Inform Gift Shop Supervisor of specific needs for both inventory and operating supplies.

Ensure proper inventory control, by maintaining accurate records of merchandise sold or damaged.

Assist in a count of inventory, once a month.

Display merchandise in a manner that will draw traffic and promote sales.

Tagging new merchandise and display them in store.

Responsible for balancing cash drawer at the end of shift in a timely manner, and the subsequent turn-in of the Gift Shop bank to the Cage.

Maintain a good working knowledge of both company-wide and departmental policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

Must possess the ability to lift at least 15 pounds at one time.

Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.

Must be able to stand for extended period of time.

Must possess effective communication skills and organizational skills.

Must basic math skills, and the ability to pass a basic math and written test.

Must have basic computer knowledge.

Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.

Able to obtain an applicable department license.

High School diploma, GED or Equivalency.

Ability to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and special events.

Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
