Storytellers Food Server-PT (Part Time, Swing Shifts)

Reports to: Storyteller Supervisor
Rate of Pay: $7.00 plus tips
Summary: Responsible for taking and delivering food & beverage orders to Guests in a high end restaurant setting, completing side work, and ticket close-out.
Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:
- Take food & beverage orders and deliver them to the Guests.
- Provides exceptional, professional, and courteous service.
- Is cordial to all Guests and fellow Team Members.
- Ensures that tickets are promptly and properly closed prior to the end of shift.
- Completes opening checklist and side work during each shift.
- Assist in high profile events that are catered.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent and professional Guest service skills.
- One (1) year tray experience required.
- Must also possess a cooperative, professional, and friendly nature.
- Must be able to lift and transport 10-45 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk 100% of the time during shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively to front and back of the house staff to ensure exceptional Guest service.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a food server in a fine-dining/upscale restaurant is preferred.
- Wine presentation, spirits and table side service preferred.
- Must be able to work in a detailed, medium to fast paced atmosphere.
- Excellent attendance.
- Must present a clean, well-groomed appearance.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Able to obtain applicable department license.
- Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino, and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
- Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, special events and overtime.
