Reports to: $14.00 +Tips

Summary: Analyze and perform all repairs and routine maintenance on Slot Department equipment in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

  • Adhere to departmental and Casino policy and procedures.
  • Perform all levels of repairs and maintenance on slot machines, kiosks and related devices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot all slot machines, kiosks and related devices.
  • Maintain adequate parts supplies for the Slot Repair shop.
  • Ensure all slot machines and kiosks are secure and tamper-proof.
  • Inform Slot Shift Supervisor of Guests playing in an unethical or irregular manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and ordinances.
  • Instruct and aid gaming team members in all levels of machine maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Act as Lead Slot Technician or Slot Repair Supervisor if necessary.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Able to meet all Slot Technician 2 duties and requirements and/or a minimum of three (3) years of previous casino Slot Technician experience or equivalent.
  • Makes mature judgment calls.
  • Must effectively communicate with team members, guests and superiors.
  • Must possess the ability to move and maneuver at least 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to work any shift in a high-pressure, smoky environment and be able to stand for a majority of shift.
  • Specific knowledge of CCC*H slot machine configurations and setups.
  • Demonstrate ability and knowledge of slot machines, kiosks and related equipment as well as the ability to repair job related electronics, computer and mechanical devices down to the PCB component level.
  • Must have a high-level understanding of Oasis hardware and software modules; specifically BlackBart and Diagnostic Monitor.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
