POSITION SUMMARY:

Develops, directs, and leads the Marketing team which includes Marketing Advertising, Promotions, Castle Club, and Transportation teams to fulfill marketing strategies, plans, programs, promotions, and special events in line with CCCH overall strategies and budgets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Establishes marketing goals to ensure Share of Market and profitability of the casino.

Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, to ensure profit, growth, and expansion of CCCH products and/or services.

Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic information factors to capitalize on market opportunities and to minimize negative effects of competitive influences. Using analysis, makes operational recommendations and adjustments based on data and trends.

Oversees all media exposure to include brand management and communications strategies. Functions as the CCCHs primary public relations representative at all CCCH hosted, sponsored, or attended events.

Identifies and builds opportunities to attract and retain Guests.

Develops and ensures compliance with department policies and procedures.

Establishes and maintains strong, professional, and collaborative relationships with other departments, vendors, clients, community partners, and governing groups and agencies.

Selects, trains, motivates, leads, and develops talent within marketing groups.

Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field of study required.

2. Work Experience: Seven (7) years experience in Marketing in a Senior Management position with a minimum of five (5) years experience in a casino Marketing position required.

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a. Must possess knowledge and expertise with emerging trends for current print, online, and outdoor advertising design and production.

b. Must possess knowledge of player tracking systems, preferably Oasis, and knowledge of promotional kiosk software.

c. Possess strong organization, planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.

d. Must possess mature judgement and heightened attention to detail and creativity.

e. Must be able to successfully interact with a variety of personalities.

f. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and possess moderate to advanced computer literacy.

g. Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced atmosphere and work well under pressure.

h. Must present a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance at all times.

4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona gaming license.

5. Must be at least:18 years of age.

6. Must participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid, Arizona Gaming License.

7. Must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.

8. Must be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary.

9. Must be able to comply with all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
