Reports to: F & B Director

Summary: Responsible for leading, supervising, and scheduling the front house staff in all Food Department Venues

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

Complete schedules for the front of house staff to ensure adequate staffing for level of business.

Ensure Food Supervisors are completing paperwork; counseling notices, Attendance Reports, OJT Training, Timesheets, Side work Sheets, in a timely, efficient and consistent manner.

Interview new applicants, make hiring recommendations and complete appropriate new hire paperwork.

Provide the Food & Beverage Director status report of all occurrences and incidents.

Liaison between the Food & Beverage Director and Food Supervisors.

Responsible for completing and issuing Counseling Notices, Attendance Reports, delegating and completion of Appraisals and any other supporting documentation to Food Supervisors.

Ensure POS machines are programed correctly working properly with the assistance of the IT Department.

Ensure a partnership exists with the Executive Chef and Beverage Manager to identify any business needs and opportunities. Supervise FOH staff and mobilize departmental participation.

Maintain communication individually and collectively.

Work effectively with all levels of management.

Ensure a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction, throughout the department is achieved and maintained.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain high standard of professionalism.

Must be able to handle difficult situations.

Must be able to tactfully and professionally enforce discipline when needed.

Must possess strong problem solving, organizational and planning skills.

Must be willing to work all positions and any shift if needed.

Must be able to learn and manage current POS system.

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Three years experience in the food service industry including restaurant supervisory experience.

Must have a Food Handler's certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Ability to work in a fast pace atmosphere.

Must be computer literate.

Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Must be able to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and special events.

Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.

Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.

Effectively communicate in both written and verbal form.

Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

Must maintain a valid drivers license and a driving record which is acceptable to our insurer.

Must adhere to department policies and procedures.

Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
