Hotel/Lodge Front Desk Supervisor (Full Time, All Shifts)

Summary: Responsible for successful direction, administration and coordination of all activities of the hotel, in accordance with company established policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:
- Adhere to all casino and departmental policies and procedures including all regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership to all levels of staff.
- Make impartial decisions involving Guests and Team Members.
- Relay pertinent information to incoming supervisor staff or designee.
- Make recommendations on new hires, terminations, evaluations, and counseling of Front Desk staff.
- Correct and coach Team Members who have violated company or departmental procedures.
- Continually acting as a representative of Cliff Castle Casino Hotel and encouraging others through demonstration of appropriate behavior.
- Keep open communication between other departments.
- Periodically inventory supplies and equipment.
- Plan work schedules to ensure maximum Guest service.
- Facilitate the flow of information throughout the property by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with other hotel departments.
- Review various reports, identifying potential misinformation and/or conflicts, and reporting to appropriate individuals.
- Analyze service and general operations for the front desk on a daily basis, giving feedback and offering direction as needed.
- Ensure a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
- Tactfully handles stressful and difficult situations with Guests and other Team Members.
- Ensure all support duties and responsibilities are carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
- Must possess the ability to perform front desk duties as needed based on staffing levels.
- Supervise the set-up, tear down and replenishment of the continental breakfast.
- Attend all meetings and training as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Two (2) years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and Guest service.
- Ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Must have professional appearance.
- Must be able to operate a computer and property management system efficiently.
- Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events.
- Must possess mature judgment and the ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
- Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
- Able to obtain applicable gaming license.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
