Purpose:

To oversee and manage retail Sports Book activities. The Sports Book Manager will be required to carry out the administration of Sports Betting activities while working with authorized vendors in risk management and betting operations.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring that Guest Services Standards are being met within the department.

Responsible for supervising and managing Team Members in the Sports Book.

Ability to read, understand and communicate sport wagering system performance reports to senior management.

Develop and manage goals, budgets and operational activities.

Coordinate viewing activities of sports related content within the Sports Book and Dragonfly Lounge.

Familiarity with A/V system management and sporting viewing seasons and schedules.

Maintains retail betting operations and monitors betting markets to maintain appropriate risk levels.

Manages and ensures all back of house sport wagering systems are performing as specified by the vendor.

Work with other departments to promote all gaming and hospitality services.

Responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance within all areas of responsibility. Adheres to all Title 31 and Title 4 requirements.

Create, review and maintains Policies and Procedures to adhere to regulatory compliance.

Familiarized with betting menu for both mobile wagering provider and retail sport book providers.

Acts as the CCCH liaison for mobile sports betting operations.

Works with the Casino Marketing Team to create promotions and special events within area of responsibility.

Ability to write and deliver reports as needed.

Collaborates with Marketing to identify player development opportunities.

Manages queuing and sports book traffic flow for large events.

Provides excellent Guest Service and resolves Guest complaints and conflicts quickly and appropriately.

Develops and coaches staff in areas of responsibility.

Manages schedules to meet the demands of Guests and sporting events.

Requirements- Education and Experience:

Previous experience working or managing sports betting operations of five (5) years or more.

Previous experience working as a supervisor or manager in a licensed retail sports betting operation.

Skills and Abilities:

Must be proficient in computer based applications to include Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to write policies and procedures, SOP's and reports.

Strong planning and organizational skills. Must have good time management skills.

Provide good leadership skills and ability to develop Team Members.

Works well under time constraint and pressures associated with heavy customer traffic and multiple sporting events wagering.

Has experience with managing and reconciling cash drawers, interactions with cage and accounting personnel.

Preferred Educationand Experience:

Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) preferred.

Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
