Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Rate of Pay: $16.00

Summary:Responsible for the successful overall supervision of the activities of all laundry department.

Duties and Responsibilities:(Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to)

• Guides and supports Housekeeping with all cleaning needs and Laundry.
• Maintains a thorough and complete knowledge of all departmental procedures and assists in housekeeping duties as attending lobby and team member restrooms, break area and behind front desk area.
• Laundry incudes comforters, micro towels, bed scarfs and pool towels for both properties, Linen, blankets pillows and uniforms.
• Keep laundry room Ecolab detergents, spot cleaners, chemicals inventoried and stocked. Report to housekeeping manager or supervisor of low inventory to be be ordered.
• Keep laundry room shelves clean and stocked with supplies and extra laundry items. Keep laundry floor clean form debris ad check water vent flow free from debris (this prevents flooding).
• Ensure dryer filters are clean and free from debris and lint backup.
• Must wear protective PPE at all times.
• Lifting linens up to 50 pounds.
• Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives.

Mandatory Requirements:

• High School or diploma or (GED) required.
• One (1) year previous laundry/housekeeping experience required.
• Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.
• Must maintain a consistent and regular attendance record. Weekends and Holidays required.
• Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, push and pull.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check.
