Storytellers Chef de Cuisine (Full Time, All Shifts)

Rate of Pay: D.O.E.
Summary: Responsible for the preparation of menu items pertaining to Storytellers in accordance with company specifications and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:
- Recommends menu items and production procedures for the front of the house, controlling costs and managing budget.
- Assist in the supervision and training of all line production staff ensuring compliance with company specs and standards.
- Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
- Instruct and coordinate all Storytellers back of the house in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation.
- Ensure that all recipes are produced correctly.
- Assist in all areas of food production as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent regular attendance record through our payroll system.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with HAACP regulations as well as tribal health inspections.
- Communicate on a regular basis with the Executive Chef on all aspects of kitchen productivity pertaining to Storytellers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D or Equivalent experience.
- One to two years experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Able to obtain an applicable department license.
- Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino, and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
