Starting Pay Rate: $15.00

Summary: Responsible for the daily supervision of all aspects of the Amusement Department, and promoting excellent standards for Guest service and satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

  • Ensure that all Guests are provided with friendly, courteous, polite and helpful service.
  • Assist with training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining Team Members, when needed.
  • Must be able to assume all duties in the event of a call-in or other such emergency.
  • To meet the needs of the department, perform specific assigned tasks from the Assistant Manager and/or the Amusement Manager.
  • Oversee all Attendants and Technicians daily operations.
  • Oversee all front of the house Brunswick equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Respond to special requests of Guests, as well as Guest complaints and inquiries in a calm, prompt, courteous manner.
  • Report any problems to the Manager.
  • Responsible for verifying procedures and signing off on forms requiring an Amusement Supervisors signature.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Internal Controls, State Gaming Compact policies, and Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures are followed.
  • Assist in ordering and maintaining operating supplies and Pro Shop inventory.
  • Ability to assume all duties of an Shake Rattle and Bowl (SRB) when necessary.
  • Inspect Pro Shop merchandise to ensure that it is correctly displayed and accurately priced.
  • Greet Guests and politely inform them of SRB services and special promotions.
  • Responsible for reviewing time sheets on a daily basis, ensuring correctness.
  • Keep track of open play lanes and assign them to Guests.
  • Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Maintain and control inventory, ensuring accountability of all merchandise on a monthly basis.

Responsible for the development of weekly schedules and for administering Team Member requests on a monthly basis.

Operate cash register in both SRB, control panel, computer and P/A (makes announcements) in SRB.

Assure that Attendants balance cash drawers at the end of their shift.

Answer phone calls and direct calls when necessary.

Assist Guests in locating suitable house balls, scoring equipment, and other Guest concerns that may arise.

Must have working knowledge of company-wide and departmental policies and procedures.

Notify Bowling Alley Technician of any mechanical failures.

Must promote positive Team Member and Guest relations.

Provide a safe environment for Guests.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

Must have prior supervisory experience.

Must possess the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch for SRB.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Must possess effective communication skills.

Past bowling center experience helpful.

Required to have previous money handling experience and the ability to operate a 10-key adding machine by sight.

Must possess basic math skills, and the ability to pass a basic math and written test.

Basic computer knowledge.

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalency.

Ability to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and special events.

Able to obtain a valid gaming license.

Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.

Must attend Casino and Department mandatory training's and pass any applicable testing.
