Storytellers (Fine Dining)-Food Server  (Part Time, Swing Shifts)

Position: Storytellers Server

Reports to: Storytellers Supervisor

Starting Pay Rate:$5.50 plus gratuity

Summary:Responsible for taking and delivering food & beverage orders to Guests in a high end restaurant setting, completing side work, and ticket close-out.

Duties and Responsibilities:Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

• Take food & beverage orders and deliver them to the Guests.
• Provides exceptional, professional, and courteous service.
• Is cordial to all Guests and fellow Team Members.
• Ensures that tickets are promptly and properly closed prior to the end of shift.
• Completes opening checklist and side work during each shift.
• Assist in high profile events that are catered.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Excellent and professional Guest service skills.
• One (1) year tray experience required.
• Must also possess a cooperative, professional, and friendly nature.
• Must be able to lift and transport 10-45 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk 100% of the time during shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively to front and back of the house staff to ensure exceptional Guest service.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a food server in a fine-dining/upscale restaurant is preferred.
• Wine presentation, spirits and table side service preferred.
• Must be able to work in a detailed, medium to fast paced atmosphere.
• Excellent attendance.
• Must present a clean, well-groomed appearance.
• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Able to obtain applicable department license.
• Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino, and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, special events and overtime.
