Summary: Responsible for the overall direction of Casino activities and ensuring the operation is in accordance with established guidelines and company polices. Monitors and directs casino operations for maximum efficiency and superior guest service.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

  • Keep Casino Manager and other appropriate Management informed of all pertinent information regarding the operation of the casino while on duty.
  • Completes shift report daily and submits to Casino Manager at the end of the shift.
  • Authorized to make supervision decisions in Blackjack/Poker.
  • Maintains a constant awareness of all casino services, promotions and events.
  • Ensure all support duties and responsibilities to all departments are carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for all maintaining appropriate staffing levels to ensure the business is running at full capability to ensure exceptional service is provided to our guests.
  • Demonstrates ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Responsible for casino operations and guest service in the absence of the Casino Manager.
  • Solve problems and deal with a variety of situations.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Knowledge of and experience on the gaming floor.
  • Proven track record of exemplary guest service; outgoing personality.
  • Must be able to handle guest disputes in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to make timely decisions for the good of the entire business.
  • Must be self motivated and able to motivate others.
  • Must have Supervisor experience.
  • Must be a mature and energetic individual who leads by example.
  • Must have the ability to keep up with fast paced atmosphere and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, such as safety rules, budgets, P&L, operating and maintenance procedure manuals.
  • Present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • Must be able to work evenings/weekends.
  • Must be able to Holidays and special events.
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
  • Effectively communicate in both written and verbal form.
  • Be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to obtain a valid gaming license.
  • Must have Title 4 Certification or be able to obtain with 90 days of hire.
  • Must have Food Handlers certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Must have CARE certification or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalency.
  • Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Must be an enrolled member of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.
