Reports to:Human Resources Manager

Summary: Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Manager the Training Coordinator evaluates training needs, plans, develops, and implements training and staff development programs. Ensures compliance with departmental standards.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

Perform training needs evaluation, research and determine effective training delivery method.

Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training, and document and revise training as needed to meet the department and organizations goals.

Conduct training audits and provide feedback about job skills training on a regular basis.

Effectively present a variety of training in multiple media formats.

Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.

Maintain current and accurate records for Team Members, showing attendance and successful completion of all required training.

Facilitate or co-facilitate the training of Team Members with departmental management.

Conduct orientation sessions and arrange for on the job training programs for new hires.

Remain current with training and development trends, techniques, and certifications.

Communicate training courses, announcements, and publish a training calendar on a regular basis.

Coordinate on and off site training for CCCH staff.

Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

Gaming industry experience is preferred.

A minimum of three (3) years of training and development experience.

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must have the ability to keep up with fast pace atmosphere and work under pressure.

Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to interact with guests and Team Members at all levels of the organization professionally, including the ability to speak in front of groups.

Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, i.e. Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Proficiency in English. (Fluency in Spanish desired but not required).

Ability to work irregular hours, extended shifts, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Able to lift and transport up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds.

Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.

Must have and maintain a valid drivers license without restrictions and driving record which is acceptable to our insurer.

Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino, and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.

Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
