Reports to: Lead Maintenance Supervisor

Summary: Under direction from the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, repair and maintain machinery, plumbing, physical structure, and electrical wiring and fixtures.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

  • Perform the more complex plumbing, electrical and carpentry maintenance and repairs such as replacing solenoid valves, switches, relays and thermostats, rewiring appliances, constructing partitions and small out buildings, installing plumbing pipe and related plumbing fixtures.

  • Perform general painting, plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs, such as, unstopping clogged sinks, drains and garbage disposals, resetting circuit breakers, replacing cord caps, buffer switches and light switches; makes minor repairs to heating, refrigeration, air conditioning units and other electrical equipment; repairs damaged walls and doors; paints inside and outside building walls; replaces windows; refinishes and repairs furniture.

  • Use power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.

  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor, dollies and other basic loading and unloading equipment as required.

  • Drive trucks to transport materials such as furniture, supplies or equipment as required.

  • Service equipment used by oiling, greasing and adding gas as required.

  • Install and maintain fixtures and facilities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.

  • Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.

  • Ability to use power hand tools and equipment.

  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures in the operation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

  • Commercial building trade or facilities/maintenance engineering experience. Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalency.

  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.

  • Able to obtain a valid gaming license.

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, various hours, and special events.

  • This position occasionally, and for extended periods of time, requires "OnCall" status, which dictates various working hours occurring anytime within the 24/7 hours of operation of the business.

  • Team Members whose work requires operation of a motor vehicle must maintain a valid drivers' license and a driving record which is acceptable to our insurer.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, kneel, stoop, and climb ladders.

  • Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino, and Department mandatory training's and pass any applicable testing.

  • Ensure standards are maintained on work performed.

  • Able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with Team Members, Casino Guests, and vendors.
