Summary: Observes and documents all activities and incidents on company property in order to provide overall asset protection and optimum Guest and Team Member service and safety.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

  • Conduct the day to day operations of the Surveillance Department, which includes maintaining adequate camera coverage and documentation of all casino activities, all mandatory observations, incidents, suspected illegal or irregular activities, and any violations of compact, internal controls, or departmental policies.
  • Ensure observations are performed in a professional, timely manner and that immediate action is taken on any incident that is life threatening or illegal.
  • Perform surveillance assignments, reviews, and reports as directed.
  • Learn and recognize non-compliance with the Yavapai-Apache Nation and State of Arizona Gaming Compact, all Cliff Castle Casino Internal Control and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum one (1) year experience in general surveillance, casino Surveillance, or Law Enforcement.
  • Tribal gaming experience preferred.
  • Loss Prevention experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma, or G.E.D.
  • Ability to communicate orally and above average skills in written communications.
  • Present a professional attitude and appearance in all situations.
  • Must possess ability to perform well, apply mature judgment and common sense in decision making and under pressure.
  • Possess complete auditory acuity and have full color spectrum visual capabilities.
  • Be available to work reasonable overtime.
  • Ability to handle intense multi-tasking in a high stress environment.
  • Be able to remain seated for long periods and work in a confined area with limited scheduled breaks and lunch.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and clearly understand English.
  • Ability to understand implications of Tribal-State Compact.
  • Ability to understand procedure manuals from various departments.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Able to obtain a valid gaming license.
  • Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, various shifts and special events.
  • Must have an excellent attendance record.
