Starting Rate Pay:$14.00 an hour

Summary: Work within the Human Resources Department to provide team and process support to serve our Team Member population and to achieve our goals. Greet all Guests, Team Members, and Vendors that enter the Human Resources Office in a friendly and professional manner. Perform office activities, including record keeping, filing, and working with a Human Resources Management System. Process-oriented individual with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

  • Provide Team administrative support (calendar, phone, and onboarding logistics, office supplies).
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, screen and transfer all incoming calls.
  • Answer routine inquiries from internal and external sources on available positions.
  • Ensure current job descriptions are on file and available to prospective candidates.
  • Update and communicate pertinent information to Team Members via email, memos, and bulletin boards.
  • Receive and forward all documents (applications, transfer requests, enrollment forms, etc) to appropriate HR Team Members.
  • Complete I-9 forms, verify documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
  • Maintain key documents in electronic format (Team shared drives, electronic files storage).
  • Ensure accuracy of electronic and other file management systems.
  • File documents into appropriate Team Member files and update Team Member files as required.
  • Complete department purchase orders and maintain office supply inventory.
  • Be courteous and professional with all Team Members, Guests, and Vendors.
  • Ensure that the HR Lobby is always clean and presentable.
  • Manage employment process for new hires and transfer process for internal Team Members.
  • Prepare HR reports as assigned.
  • Cross-train in the other positions within the HR Department.
  • Must maintain a regular and consistent attendance record.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years experience with general administrative assistant responsibilities.
  • Prefer previous Human Resources experience.
  • CONFIDENTIALITY, a must.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Outlook. Must pass test to demonstrate skill.
  • Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills. Good punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must.
  • Experience with HR database or similar programs, preferred.
  • Must be able to type efficiently.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must have strong organizational skills..
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings and special events.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming license.
  • Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino, and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
