Reports to: Count Supervisor/Lead

Summary: Responsible for all aspects of the drop and count processes for Table Games and gaming machines. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State laws governing monetary transactions and company policies, procedures and controls.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment used in counting coin and currency.
  • Responsible for removing bill validator cans from slot machines and replacing with empty bill validator cans and putting cans into carts.
  • Responsible for transporting all monies into the Count Room.
  • Responsible for counting, verifying and strapping all currency.
  • Responsible for the transferring of all currency and chips into the Vault.
  • Ensure the integrity of all Count Transactions.
  • Must keep the Count Supervisor informed of all pertinent information regarding count activities and any irregularities.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental paperwork.
  • Must develop working knowledge of equipment, software and hardware necessary to perform count team duties within 90 days.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Able to obtain a valid gaming license.
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to push, pull, bend and squat.
  • Must be able to stand and walk 100% of the job time.
  • Must be able to operate a 10-Key calculator efficiently and accurately.
  • Must be able to perform basic math computations.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Must pass any applicable tests.
  • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Must provide courteous service and is cordial to all Team Members and Guests.
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino, and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
