Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift - (1062-A) (Full Time)

Position Summary
Support manufacturing by inspecting products and processes to meet quality and scheduled goals of the company.
Essential Functions
Perform final inspection of product.
Work in accordance with inspection sheets.
Participate in root cause corrective action investigations.
Learn and develop hands-on proficiency with inspection processes utilized by the company.
Follow written and verbal instructions, engineering drawings or sketches.
Prepare inspection reports and document non-conformances.
Participate in the operation of and compliance with all safety, hazardous material handling and disposal requirements in accordance with government regulations and company procedures.
Maintain a clean work environment in full compliance with all internal, customer and government regulations.

Experience and Education
Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace inspection.
Ability to work from sketches and use measuring instruments such as, micrometers, calipers, height stands, indicators, shadow graph andCMM.
Knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and its application to use sketches and measuring instruments.
Subject to complete vision exam per requirements of National Aerospace Standards (NAS) 410.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation
$40000 - $100000 / year
Compensation is paid hourly and may be adjusted based on level of experience, overtime and shift.
