Process Engineer (1032)  (Full Time)
Location: Windsor, CT

Position Summary

The process engineer will be responsible for technically supporting production flow line with processes, tooling and resolution of non-conforming material.

Essential Functions

Develop and maintain operation processes for flow line

Design tooling, fixtures and gauges

Participate on continuous improvement teams and champion improvement initiatives

Review and disposition nonconforming material

Develop rework processes

Support flow line with technical issues

Maintain a clean and organized work space

Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co-workers, team members and supervisors

Competencies

Must have strong mechanical aptitude

Strong organizational skills

Excellent attitude and teamwork

Solid Modeling using SolidWorks or NX, experience with ERP Systems

Experience and Education

Must have previous process engineering experience supporting CNC lathes, mills and grinding equipment

Associate degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent required

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
