IT Support Technician (020-2022)  (Full Time)

Position Summary

Thison-siteposition has responsibility for providing end user support with desktop computers, printers and other technologies, as well as performing tasks related to objectives set by CIO.

Essential Functions

• Deploy and maintain network equipment, including wifi access points, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of IT.
• Install and upgrade computer components and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems and assessing impact of issues.
• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
• Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
• Other tasks as required by CIO.
  

Qualifications

• Ability to work autonomously with needed support from CIO
• Desktop and laptop PC setup and maintenance
• Network cabling
• Printer setup and maintenance
• Network services, such as DNS and DHCP
• Computer troubleshooting
• Microsoft Office and Windows operating system

Experience and Education

• Must possess satisfactory experience in information technology; at least 2 years preferred.
