Senior LabView Engineer (Full Time)
Location: Maryland

Optotraffic is seeking a Senior LabView Engineer to join our team

The Senior LabView Engineer will work to develop automated control, test, and development software for traffic enforcement devices. The Senior LabView Engineer will also participate in the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new products. The candidate must be able to interact with various design, manufacturing, and operations teams as part of their daily tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a high performance, dynamic environment - capable of prioritizing and completing tasks, despite multiple competing demands on their time.

Requirements:

BS in EE, CE, or related field
7+ years of experience with LabView
7+ years of experience with developing stand-alone test executables, GUI development, and large software system integration
Extensive experience with CCD/CMOS machine vision cameras
Knowledge of IMAQ and IMAQdx
Demonstrated skills in all phases software design, development, and documentation
Excellent communication and presentation skills
National Instruments LabView Certification
Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Desired:

Experience with optical testing/design
Experience with training/mentoring
Experience in test data management and analysis
Experience with electronics lab equipment: oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other test equipment
