Job Description

 

The Homeless Outreach Specialist will provide outreach and case management services to homeless individuals in their region.

The Homeless Outreach Specialist will connect individuals with needed community resources and housing options

Specialist attend community collaboratives and homeless outreach committee meetings and provides reports to the supervisor

 

Job Requirements

BA in Human Service field preferred or A/D certification

1 yr. experience in AOD field

Knowledge of AOD issues, Mental Health issues, issues relating to homelessness, case management, motivational interviewing and trauma informed care

Bilingual/bicultural preferred

5ys with no misuse or abuse of psychoactive substances

Hours

M-F 40 hours per week

 

Pay

$16 - $18 per hour
