Litigation Paralegal (Full Time)
Location: Uniondale, NY

Rivkin Radler LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with at least 6 years of litigation experience. The right candidate will be familiar with various Federal and State Courts motion practice , the discovery process, cite-checking/Shepardizing and E-Filing in federal & state courts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Drafts cover letters and other correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery demands and responses.
- Indexes and summarizes documents and depositions.
- Performs basic legal and factual research utilizing Lexis, Westlaw, and other sources, including print resources.
- Follow a case from inception to settlement, assist with drafting, electronic filing, and serving initiating documents, preparing discovery demands and responses and following up for timely responses, requesting medical records, setting up IMEs, and other tasks as needed.
- Organizes, manages and updates client files/pleadings (electronic and paper copies)
Requirements:
- At least 6+ years relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work with large document intensive cases.
- Proficient in Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel and ADOBE Acrobat Professional.
- Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
