DESCRIPTION

Under limited supervision, maintain the outside grounds of the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct custodial work including litter and trash removal

Responsible for mowing and edging as assigned

Complete snow removal and de-icing as needed for inclement weather that has occurred

Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Proven attention to detail with quality of work

Flexibility to work multiple tasks and shift direction and priorities without losing focus

Must be able to safely and regularly use hand tools, power tools, power washer, ladders, lawn mowers

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and must have a valid drivers license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 100 pounds.

May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment testing (physical, drug, alcohol).

Must be able to work outside in varying temperatures to support outdoor grounds needs
