Delivery - CDL Truck Driver (Full Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for planning and executing delivery activities, preparing delivery loads, following planned delivery routes, and assisting with returns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate a tandem-truck with a donkey truck carried forklift
Responsible for delivery and pick up of building materials to job sites
Provide exceptional customer service
Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
Assist in loading and unloading onto and off truck or customer vehicles
Able to move materials with a forklift (will train)
Read and measure materials with a tape measure
Responsible for maintaining the company vehicle in accordance with company policies and manufacturer specification and any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Commercial Driver License, Class B with Air brakes
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be at least 21 to drive company vehicle
Clean motor vehicle record
Capable of operating a manual transmission vehicle
Must pass pre-employment testing (physical, drug, alcohol)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (physical, drug, alcohol). Lift >50 lbs.
