JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for designing, quoting, and selling cabinet and counter projects; maintaining accurate pricing information and ensuring profitability of the kitchen cabinet department and complete customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

Work with account manager/sales professionals to design and quote cabinet and counter projects.
Design kitchens, bathrooms, bars, entertainment system, etc. using 20/20 software.
Quote and manage full cycle ordering process for all cabinet and counter projects from inception to completion including specialty hardware and other accessories.
Maintain accurate pricing and merchandising information for kitchen cabinet department.
Assist account managers/sales professionals in finding and closing orders.
Assist with the management of the installer list.
Make calls to current Builders Supply customers to introduce new cabinet and counter program.
Follow company safety regulations.
Any other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors/Associates degree preferred.
3-5 years kitchen design experience.
Experience with 20/20 software helpful.
Sales and project management skills highly desirable.
Computer skills, excellent spelling, grammar, written, verbal, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate with corporate staff in a courteous, tactful and concise manner are also required.
Must be able to work in team environment.
This position features a competitive salary plus bonus potential.
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (physical, drug, alcohol).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and must be able to lift 15 pounds. The employee must be able to operate office equipment such as a computer, telephone, headset, fax, copier, and ten key.
