JOB DESCRIPTION

The Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for accurately and safely delivering lumber and related building materials to customer job site. The Delivery Truck Driver will load/stock lumber and related building materials on residential and commercial job sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver building materials to customer's job site
Use forklift to load/unload building materials
Make product returns and pickups
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of truck
Walk job site and complete job site inspection form and other paperwork
Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding difficult job site and deliveries
Comply with all company policies and OSHA safety regulations
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least age 21 with a valid operators license and have a good driving record to drive company vehicles
Must pass pre-employment testing (physical, drug, alcohol)

PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS

The employee must be able to operate a motor vehicle and lifting equipment such as a truck and forklift. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk, talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to walk, stand and continually lift>50 pounds.
