Define a global supply chain strategy by implementing and delivering the transformative actions leading to an optimized and competitive supply chain organization, positioning the company as an industry leader. Direct supply chain management teams to optimize multiple distribution centers and manufacturing locations, and transform current business models to one where the supply chain partners with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Oversee development of the supply chain budget and system wide goals supported by long range supply chain management strategic vision for operational and cost saving improvements. Review operating performance, with key service, quality, and cost metrics, and focus on continuous improvement programs. Oversee procurement targets and regulatory compliance with local and global guidelines, as well as import requirements. Provide strategic cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Quality and Customer Service to maintain the uniformity of supply and demand objectives across departments.
Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00 am 5:00 pm.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Contracts Management, Business Management, Industrial Management, or a related field, and 10 years of professional experience. In lieu of a Bachelors degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of professional experience.
Must have 10 years of experience in each of the following:
Progressive experience in a procurement, purchasing, or materials management role.
Maintaining supply chain budgets and reviewing operating performance.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Management experience in a procurement, purchasing, or materials role within the communications industry.
Project management.
Functioning in a collaborative role with Sales, Operations, Quality and Customer Service teams.
Travel required up to 25%
