Senior Manager, Group Finance

Job purpose

Maintain a state-of-the art business partnering and opex spend control department. Overseeing headquarter and shared service costs of USD ca. 150m p.a. The role also leads the yearly budget and long-range planning activity as well as development of monthly rolling forecast model for the headquarter operations.

Key Accountabilities

Analyzing and explaining current and historic performance, providing comprehensive business commentary to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are achieved or beaten. Work closely with input providers, stakeholders and county operations

Ensure accurate month end close in timely manner

Increase transparency of costs rolling-up to central and refine transfer-pricing model; Identify costs saving opportunities

Actively manage all aspects of Payroll accounting, as well as overseeing the continuous improvement of Financial forecasts

Refine spend control (e.g. Purchase Orders and Headcount Approval) and reporting output to support & challenge business

Act as a one-stop-shop for all related business partnering questions to ELT members

Act as a sparring partner for LRP, budget and forecast. Provide guidance on targets

Providing analytical support ad-hoc cross-functional projects

Managing a team of 5 managers and analysts in the US, Colombia & Jamaica

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Preferred education/ qualifications:

8 - 10 years progressive finance planning and reporting experience essential; international experience an asset

SAP & Hyperion systems knowledge a must have. Advanced excel and presentation skills are essential

Excellent accounting & reporting skills, ability to interpret and apply USGAAP accounting standards whilst appreciating commercial drivers.

First Degree major in Accounting or Business administration a must criteria. MBA from high ranked University as an asset

Self-starter who manages to deliver high quality outputs to demanding deadlines

Strong commercial mindset with good business understanding of telecommunication industry

Ability to communicate and cooperate with coworkers and management at different hierarchy levels in a clear & concise manner.

Analytical mind, strong problem-solving skills, adhering to standards to maintain the integrity of the financial data.

Experienced to work in international high complex and high pace matrix organizations
